My Concern

The past month VincentClark Enterprise has lunched VincentClark.net. Within the VincentClark.net frame, there will be a writing.vincentclark.net and ebay.vincentclark.net. Unfortunately we can't focus too much on what more needs to be done, which is considerable, but we expect record growth by the end of the first quarter. Now what concerns me. So it is that time of the decade again, people, mainly men, mostly of a Northern European decent, converge to take over the sitting Presidents job. This concerns me a great deal. You see Ford pulled the rest of the troops out of Vietnam, the process started by the guy that he replaced. Other than that Ford was a fairly benign president on the world stage. Then came Carter, no really war under his belt, but he did send American soldiers on foreign soil to free our hostages. He did botch it up, but the effort is noted. Then there was Reagan, defending us from the "Evil Empire." He convinced the American people that we can shoot down nuclear missiles in space. Not satisfied by the frigid cold war, Reagan sought out Guatemala and Honduras as a place to let loose the military that he was building. Then came Bush, called off the cold war, still not satisfied with the sweeping reform of East Germany, he too wanted to bomb a Central American country, so he removed and arrested their leader of Panama after a quick external coup. This was not enough for him, and his prayers were answered when Iraq took over Kuwait. He got more than enough reason to rally the world in one common enemy. After six weeks of bombing he launch a 100 hour ground war. However the economy went south and not even a quick invasion of the famish stricken African nation could get him re-elected. Now comes Clinton, who gave his token bombing of Iraq when he first got the job, he launch attacks against not only Iraq, but Afghanistan, Sudan, and lets not forget the 70 day bombing of Yugoslavia. He bomb four sovereign nations, more than any other President, and he was doing it when he was getting impeached. Bush Jr. comes to the stage with some heavy pressure to out do the guy before him. He thought "Not only am I going to bomb Iraq for non-compliance, but I am going to remove not one, but two governments and occupy their country." And the crazy SOB did. So my concern is, what the hell is the next guy going to do? Will it be the liberation of Greenland? We will have a new President, I am not sure when, but we will, and if history is a guide, we are going to be in for some good television. Thanks for reading, Vincent Clark
